We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AVP – Finance and Business Management

The Risk & Compliance Chief Administration Office (CAO) area is responsible for financial and people management processes, oversight, MI and Governance for the organisation’s ‘Risk & Compliance’ function
The Opportunity:
This role will form part of Risk & Compliance Chief Administration Office (CAO) area, supporting business management responsibilities including cost reporting, review of headcount, budgeting and forecasting process, governance packs for senior management reviews, and other administrative aspects for the specific Risk & Compliance sub-function
What you’ll do:
Financial Management – ensuring all financial targets are understood and actions can be taken as necessary, and Actuals vs. Plan managed monthly, including headcount
Lead monthly review of financials, including working with relevant departments/ regions to obtain further understanding of costs and annual budgets with appropriate rigor and challenge
Lead run-rate analysis, forecasting and annual plan process, and provide variance view and insightful commentary where appropriate
Review of indirect costs such as Group recharges, charges from Global Service Centres and other intercompany charges
Administration around headcount and hiring approvals
Governance – demonstrating good governance and control across the assigned Function
Monthly Reporting and follow up including Span of Control, Layers, Recruitment files etc.
Requirements
What you will need to succeed in the role:
Strong Financial background and experience essential
Deep understanding of different aspects of cost within a global organization and evidence of delivery in a similar global role
Strong relationship management with a focus on financial and budget requirements. Able to work with individuals at different levels.
Ability to quickly understand stakeholder requirements and concerns and deliver a quality result
‘Can Do’ attitude. Willing to turn a hand to whatever task is required and ensure attention to detail
Effective written and spoken communication skills in English, and strong Microsoft Excel skills
