Job Description : We are looking for a strong MS SQL Server developer with extensive experience creating, optimizing and maintaining complex T-SQL code (stored procedures, views, functions, queries),some knowledge of C#, and a good knowledge and experience with Azure databases.RESPONSIBILITIES: Create, optimize and maintain complex T-SQL code (stored procedures, views, functions,queries) Tune T-SQL queries and database performance by improving overall query execution plans, indexing strategies, table design Review database objects for data integrity, quality, security, recoverability, scalability, maintenance and capacity Recommend new strategies and architecture to enhance the efficiency of data systems Create data structures based on the design on development, test, and productionenvironments Respond to database alerts and be available to share in on-call support Collaborate with other team members, application developers, and stakeholders Provide technical guidance to the applications development team regarding databasedesign to reduce the risk of design issues. Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and tune for peak performance. Create, document, implement, and maintain database management strategies, policies,and procedures, including security, support, training, installation, and upgrade procedures. Participate in the development of project scope and milestones to meet assigned project requirements. Partner cross-functionally to meet deadlines and audit databases/reports, and work with management on critical issues.QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 5 years of experience with T-SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Minimum 3 years of experience with Azure data platform including Azure SQL Strong Object-relational mapping experience with UML modeling and OO modeling. Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, TFS Expertise in database concepts, including normalization, indexing, physical and logicalmodeling, creation of SQL queries, and performance tuning Scripting languages such as Powershell or Azure CLI for automation of database admin anddeployment tasks Solid understanding of standard ETL tools and techniques, sourcing, maintaining, andupdating data, data warehousing, data cleansing, security standards, and Microsoft Azure specific technologies. Good communication, presentation skills with the right attitude towards problem-solving in diverse teams.NICE TO HAVE : Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Functional knowledge of Tableau is a plus. Experience with CosmosDB is a plus.
