Job Description : The Company Overview:
Butler rose are partnered with a small, forward-thinking NHS Trust in East Manchester. They are now looking for a Temporary Band 7 Assistant Finance Business Partner for an initial period of 3-4 months, with scope to go beyond this. This is a newly created job due to volume of workload & the desire to drive their function forward. It is a great opportunity to be part of a friendly, energetic & hardworking team which encompasses a wide variety of people who embrace continual change & new ways of working. Your new role as Band 7 Assistant Finance Business Partner:
Your duties will include:
Presentation of financial data and developing reports on Power BI & PowerPoint

Central reporting

National monthly returns

Population of financial planning templates and returns, and pulling them into a central resource

Ensuring data produced stacks up & makes sense

Working closely with clinicians and other senior budget holders to deliver comprehensive financial analysis, develop business cases, support the CIP (Competitiveness & Innovation Framework) Programme and ensure delegated budgets are effectively managed

The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The successful Candidate shall be/have:
Qualified / Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant

Excel ability is key to this position, particularly vlookups. SQL & Power BI exposure would also be a huge plus.

Good at churning information into large datasets

Good interpersonal skills as working closely with the Finance Business Partners

Experience of presenting financial data to non-financial people

Analytical mindset & collaborative approach

Your Reward & The Package on Offer:
Hourly rate will be between £16.97 – £28.33 per hour depending on experience and your chosen method of payment (PAYE / Umbrella company)
