Location – Melbourne – remote working available
Contract – 6 months plus extension

An exciting new role for an AWS / Azure Cloud Engineer working has been created due to increased demand in workload and will see you joining a globally operating business; well know household name.
This role will deliver and support digital solutions that provide value to the business working with mobile app, website and data teams, as well as partnering with the sister banking companies.
You will have the opportunity to research and evaluate new tools, frameworks and technologies that will improve the way AWS / Azure Cloud is being developed, built, executed, and monitored within the business.
Whilst leading the team you will work alongside cross functional technical teams including solution architects, project managers, vendors and contractors to design, build and deploy new solutions or enhancements to existing solutions
You will support and drive the design, build and the operation of infrastructure solutions hosted in AWS and Azure Cloud as well as provide solutions for any stakeholder and business needs.
You will have a solid experience of cloud end to end experience and deployment methods including, security of cloud solutions, cost management and use these to continually improve the infrastructure.
You will also have possessed great communications skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and internal and external.
Ideal candidate will have the following skills:
AWS / Azure Cloud design and development experience
Hands on experience managing a technical team
Experience with platform design, secuirty and networking configuration
Experience in working mentoring and training other technical experts
Experience in working in an Agile environment
Hands on experience with CloudFormation, Terraform various DevOps tools.
Familiarity with DevOPs principles and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo or TeamCity, Azure Devops, ARM templates.
You will be working across several features including Kubernetes and Docker (experience not essential).
You will have a collaborative and solutions focused culture, where you will bring new ideas and processes.
