Job Description : Job descriptionWe are a small but professional firm of accountants providing clients with accountancy and taxation services. We are based 3 miles south-east of Norwich (straight off the A47) in a lovely countryside office with free parking. We offer the right candidates a flexible, relaxed working environment within a flat working structure.Bookkeeper/VAT client processorYou will be responsible for, but not limited to:· Working on approx. 50 clients per quarter.· Processing raw client data including:o Sales invoiceso Purchase invoiceso Bank statements· Preparing bank reconciliations· Preparing and submitting VAT returns· Dealing with client queries· Contacting clients for missing information· Maintaining client relations· Maintaining client physical recordsThe successful candidate will have the following attributes:· At least 3 years bookkeeping experience.· An ability to work to a high level of accurately and to deadlines· To be honest, discreet and adhere to confidentiality rules· Good numeracy, verbal and written communication skills as well as with a being able to work to a high level of attention to detail· Enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking· The ability to work in a small, friendly team whilst maintaining professional standards.· Good working knowledge of accounting software including Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, although training will be givenThe position is a flexible, permanent position. As a minimum it will be for 22.5 hours but has the ability to be a full time position for the right candidate.
