Job Description : We are a small but friendly nursing home situated in Hove. We are looking for an experienced Administrator – Accountant (Bookkeeper) who is able to come on board quite quickly and take over the job with confidence and enthusiasm.The role involves providing general administrative and financial support to the manager.A friendly and accommodating approach is essential.The role is 12- 16 hours a week.Duties include*Management of QuickBooks financial system* Accounts receivable collections -ensuring a positive cash flow* Banking reconciliations* Maintaining financial ledgers* supplier and customer invoice generation*Communication with suppliers/ contractors and relatives of residents*Problem solving*Other administrative tasks as directedCandidate requirements *Must be competent with QuickBooks.*proficient in the use of Word Excel*Two years or more experience in small/medium business environment* Ability to work independently and confidentially.* Organised and detail orientatedIf you are interested, please reply to this post with your CV and cover letter.
