Advanced working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
Proven problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner
Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and customer-focused Business Analyst (BA) who is interested in guiding key business decisions.
The person would be part of the marketing team in the Amazon Fresh team, and play a key role in driving projects across multiple initiatives related to marketing, product and category. The key tasks would be to analyze sales, traffic, customer & other business data to help teams prepare for business reviews. He/she will be responsible for helping marketing & product managers with growing the overall business providing decision support through data analysis and business insights.
This role requires an individual with excellent understanding of SQL and query development, good business acumen and the ability to work with quantitative and business teams. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and driven by a desire to innovate in this space.

. Partnering with the team to perform deep root cause analyses basis business requirements
. Helping identify process improvement opportunities to build streamlined and scalable solutions
. Help envision & execute the automation agenda
. Attention to detail, ability to do in-depth data mining, methodical approach to work while also seeking to understand the big picture
. Results driven with the ability to innovate and simplify current process and practices.
Presenting written business recommendations that will help shape the direction of the business
. Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon’s data resources and know how, when and which data sources to use
