A Little About the Job

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to shape, define, document and deliver our vision across web, app and e-commerce platforms in multiple languages and geographies.
You’ll work with the product manager for our e-commerce stores to deliver new exciting features in an agile environment. Our store team is responsible for the Ooni websites in multiple territories and languages. The team is made up of product managers, digital product designers, software engineers and e-commerce managers. We’re always looking to improve the experience of the site for our customers and how it performs for the business.
Liaising closely with technical and business teams, you’ll lead requirements gathering processes such as workshops, interviews and user testing. Being adaptable is essential. You’ll be as happy working through the details of acceptance criteria with developers as you are planning what systems we’ll use to support our rapid growth.
A Little More About the Job (Responsibilities)

Collaborating with internal colleagues to understand the needs of projects and teams in the organisation
Define, clarify and document requirements and produce process maps using the appropriate analysis techniques
Work with stakeholders to turn current user/business issues into deliverable, valuable solutions
Establish the scope of projects and initiatives and manage changes during delivery
Process – you’ll be highly involved in our software delivery process. We’re always open to ideas about how we can improve what we do
Measurement – We expect features to deliver on an objective. You’ll be responsible for setting targets, assessing performance with data and analytics, and identifying opportunities
Sustainable Momentum – We’re moving quickly and building for the future. You’ll balance immediate goals against long term progress by being mindful of quality standards, team moral and technical debt
Roadmaps – You’ll work with a broad range of stakeholders on strategic plans that focus on delivering value to the business
Managing the Product Backlog – With the wider product team you’ll translate the roadmap into actionable sprint goals, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Essential Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Product Manager role in an eCommerce environment
Experience in process and systems design
Experience in end to end delivery – discovery, design, development, testing, deployment and measurement
Track record of bringing new world class products and features to large volumes of users on web and mobile
Demonstrable success developing and implementing integrated digital projects with interwoven dependencies
Experience in running and coaching others to run agile ceremonies
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly changing startup environment
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify (desirable)
