This is a Business Development Manager role, reporting to Sales manager – Systems and part of Electrification Business Area for Distribution Solutions based in Mumbai, India. In this role you will be responsible for identifying market opportunities for Electrification Business Area- Systems Business and achieve the order booking target in accordance with ABB guidelines.

Your responsibilities
Contribute to the local division marketing and sales strategy by identifying new customers, market opportunities for the assigned cluster.
Prepare marketing and sales plan to achieve the order booking target for the assigned clusters.
Achieve order booking target for the assigned zone.
Understand customer requirements and interface with bids and proposal team for solution offerings.
Participate in product promotion activities for Electrification – Distribution Solutions business.
Provide support to execution team for drawing approvals or inspection.
Coordinate with service team for addressing customer service issues and highlight critical situation to the manager.
Participate in product promotion activities, presentations and demos to the customers.
Capture and maintain relevant market data in Salesforce.com Tool.
Interface with customer and ensure customer requirements are addressed in coordination with relevant departments.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of experience in business development role.
Strong understanding about medium voltage switchgear products.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence both internally and externally.
