We wish to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated Class Teachers to join our dedicated team from September 2022.

One vacancy is in our reception class, and the second is for either key stage 1 or 2, depending on experience. We are looking for candidates who:
have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Curriculum appropriate to the key stage applied for,
have the potential and desire to be an outstanding teacher,
have a proven ability in generating high levels of achievement/progress and high-quality children’s outcomes
are an effective team member with a positive attitude,
have a genuine passion for and belief in the potential of every child,
will enhance our partnership work with families and the community,
are committed to personal professional development and supporting the development of a professional learning community within our multi-academy trust,
are committed to supporting the Christian ethos of the school.

St George’s are building on our 2019 ‘Ofsted Good’ inspection rating. Whilst our EY was graded as ‘Requires Improvement’ significant changes have been made, positively impacting our current position. Over the next couple of years the school is likely to grow as a result of a local housing development, which would initially lead to the expansion of our early years provision and then subsequently the rest of the school. This will offer opportunities for development and career progression.
