Job Description : Job descriptionThree cleaners with own vehicle transport or living locally, required to clean the communal areas of residential apartment blocks in the Ingress Park area of Greenhithe. This includes the communal stairs, landings and entrances. The blocks are in different parts of the development and while the cleaning equipment is stored at some of the blocks, it needs to be transported to some of the other blocks where storage isn’t an option.Shift TimesThe cleaning must take place weekdays during the daytime. There is up to thirty weekly hours of work that the employer will split between the three successful candidates. Each cleaner’s work would be split over two consecutive week-days, for four to five hours of work a day, but the successful candidates can each choose their own regular working pattern.The successful candidates will also be asked to help cover the other’s sickness and holiday absence.Who Should ApplyThe successful candidate will have been able to demonstrate that they are reliable, honest, trustworthy, able to work well without continuous supervision, polite, friendly, respectful, industrious and have an ability to prioritise tasks. A flexible attitude to being able to help cover the other cleaners holiday and sickness absence would be a distinct advantage. Those with experience in a previous cleaning role will also be prioritised.Tasks will all be related to cleaning and so will suit someone prepared to take on a physically demanding role. The site is large and there will be a fair amount of walking between blocks.Access to a modern mobile device, tablet or PC will be required for the initial Health and Safety induction.
