Job Description : Company descriptionNucleus ( www.nucleus-co.com) is a fast growing international expansion services firm with a reputation for great thoroughness in its consulting and outsourcing activities as part of its role to give its clients the highest level of client care.Nucleus’ service offerings include providing advice to clients on their international expansion across multiple countries, setting up entities, obtaining registrations, HR & benefits advice, overseeing outsourcing services that include payroll processing, accounting, AR & AP support, taxation advice and compliance across multiple countries covering accounts, direct and indirect taxes, payroll and corporate governance disciplines.Job descriptionThe CSD is expected to act as the point person for the client‘s international needs in the above areas.The successful candidate will ideally have several years of experience in project management and service delivery in multiple jurisdictions across multiple functions such as Finance, HR, compliance and legal. However, deep expertise in one of the relevant disciplines (eg transfer pricing) would also be a positive attribute. In addition, a business focused approach together with the ability to quickly establish technical credibility with the client is a “must have” attribute for this role.The successful candidate will receive bespoke specialist training and other relevant support.The material duties for the Position ‘Client Services Director’ are detailed below. However, the description below is only illustrative and not exhaustive and the candidate may also be expected to perform other duties, as may be required from time to time:Work very closely with CFO/Controller/ VP HR and other stakeholders of the client and also with local partners (accountants, tax specialists, lawyers and brokers) and various departments of Nucleus to provide proactive advice to Nucleus’ clients on their international expansion requirements covering multiple areas of support provided by NucleusOversee service delivery across multiple functions and countries for different clients.Maintain and grow client relationships and help resolve service issues that may arise from time to time in coordination with the management team at Nucleus, to ensure complete client satisfaction at all times;Spot opportunities for incremental business from existing clients where this would materially aid the client’s business;EducationalA member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of UK or foreign equivalent or Tax qualification e.g. from UK’s Chartered Institute of Taxation or equivalent. Double qualification would be an advantage but not essential.An individual having a commercial legal qualification or a CIPD will be also be considered for this role if they have experience of dealing with clients in multiple jurisdictionsUniversity degree e.g. B.A., B. Com.Specialized KnowledgeSound grasp of roles of different forms of legal entity.Earlier experience in working with companies in multiple geographies in an operating or consulting sideUnderstanding the interplay of various laws when companies expand overseas, of the risks involved and how to mitigate these.SkillsAbility to communicate confidently and effectively both orally and in writing with individuals both at client HQ and in jurisdictions where English is not the main language.A team player and a collaborator with a strong bias for action and leading from the front.Willingness to walk the extra mile to meet deadlines.Ability to think out of the box and come up with practical solutions to meet a client’s requirements.Good drafting skills, ability to review regulations and help interpret the requirements/ intent of the applicable regulations.Ability to make presentations and participate in webinars, seminars and exhibitions.Understanding of and respect for other cultures and norms.Initiative to deal with new technical challenges.Able to facilitate meetings and interactions with senior client personnel in dealing with demanding technical issuesWillingness to occasionally travel post-COVID to meet clients and for internal training.Capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines of clients in different time zones.AbilitiesProficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other similar applications.Proficiency in a second language would be useful.Personal CharacteristicsOutgoing friendly character.Strong sense of humor would be a distinct advantage.ExperiencePrevious experience of working in a multinational group or provider of consulting services covering multiple jurisdictions (for example in an International Expansion Services – IES – company) would be an advantage but not essential.Working ConditionsAs clients and Nucleus support teams are located in multiple time zones, willingness to work flexible hours is essential. Occasional weekend work will be necessary. Working from home (WFH) would be an acceptable option for this senior role.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit at a desk and use the computer and keyboard, file documents and retrieve documents from filing cabinets is required.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £60,000.00-£125,000.00 per yearBenefits:Work from homeSchedule:10 hour shiftMonday to Friday
