Job Description:
Capability to Understand customer’s overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions on Microsoft Azure platform.
· Proven technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud)Deep knowledge of Azure infrastructure and architectureDeep knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure PaaS SaaS featuresHands on experience on Azure App Service Model such as customer facing Web AppsHands on experience on Azure storage services like SQL DB, Tables, Files and BlobsHands on experience with on-premise to Azure hybrid edge configurations.Hands on experience on Container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry);Hands on experience on Continuous integration technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure for DevOps, Chef, Puppet);Experience with scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API management, serverless technologies, container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry etc.), API management, microservice frameworks etc.Software development practices like DevOps and CI/CD tool chains (i.e. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, GitHub). preferredGood knowledge of Azure DevOps .
Responsibilities:
Identify business and functional requirements by working with application end-users, and lead the collection, analysis, documentation, and coordination of those requirementsMaintain a comprehensive chronological trail of solution footprint and agreements and actively contribute to the technology stream of the project change control process.Document and manage issues and actionsProvide overall support to ensure the successful Analysis, Design, Development and Deployment of a cloud solution. Also, provide support in developing training materials and conducting training from a technology platform perspective to various stakeholders.Document and manage issues and actions for the various IT components in the solutionPrepare and make presentations using MS PowerPoint and Visio to project stakeholders and managementParticipate in the evaluation of new products or initiatives to determine the technology support requiredEvaluate applications and IT environments, and analyze gaps between current and desired statesPropose recommendations based on industry best practicesProvide estimates of level of work effort and time for completionProvide fully documented work, instruction, and training to peers, as requiredInteract with the Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Platform teams to ensure that solutions are built in adherence with the defined enterprise standards in collaboration with the IT tea
