With over 50 venues in the UK, 5000 children attending our weekly training and a network of over 300 coaches, we work every day to help players become the best they can be and contribute to England becoming the best footballing Nation.We are looking for a Coach Education Officer to oversee the development of our coach training, syllabus and learning materials. This is a 3 month fixed term contract with the opportunity for further work based on performance. With over 300 coaches in the network, it is imperative that we ensure our coaches are trained to the highest standards and become experts in coaching 4-12 year olds.The Coach Education Officer is responsible for how we develop our coaching workforce. We are looking to implement an FA style tutoring programme within our infrastructure.Because of this, the Coach Education Officer must have an in-depth understanding of football coaching for 4-12 year olds and how to develop other coaches. Responsibilities: The Coach Education Officer will be responsible for building the coach training syllabus and manage the online training platform for franchise owners and coaches. They will need to develop coach training content in the following areas: Technical skills and ball manipulationCoaching technique in passing, shooting, dribbling…Coaching tone of voiceHealth and Safety, Safeguarding and player welfareEquality, diversity and inclusivityManaging session disruptionsManaging difficult playersWorking with 3-4 year olds and younger playersUnderstanding child psychology, brain functionality and how learning happensBody language when CoachingCoaching with High energy Communication with players, different styles of communication based on age groupsCommunication with other coaches and coaching team Managing teams of coaches and working as part of a team Session preparation and session planning Session reflectionUsing equipment safely We are ideally looking for past FA tutors as we are looking to implement an FA style tutoring programme within our infrastructure. However, this is not essential past experience. Fixed Term Contract Hours: This is a 3 month fixed term contract with remote working and flexible hours.
