Job Description : Off The Wall Creative Ltd is a sign manufacturer based in Belfast. We specialise in creative and bespoke branding solutions for businesses based throughout the UK and Ireland. We are fortunate to work alongside some major brands and due to expansion we are recruiting a number of positions throughout the business.We are seeking to recruit a company accountant to join our Belfast based team. This is a full time position.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Company Accountant role has two streams of responsibility, which include:Accounting· Bookkeeping/reconciliation, accruals and payroll with QuickBooks· Controlling aged debt / liaising with client accounts· Accounts receivable and payable· Bank payments (supplier, payroll, and tax)· Processing staff expenses· Preparing and filing of VAT returns and other statutory returns· Answering finance-related queries by phone and emailWhat we’re looking forThis is a crucial role for the business. We’ve grown impressively over the past few years and are on an ambitious growth path as an organisation, so there’s lots to do and we need a hyper-organised, diligent professional to take the helm of our Belfast based office.There is also an office management aspect to this role which includes the following responsibilities: · Management and maintenance of the office environment· Purchasing sundries and maintaining stock levels including office supplies, production consumables and production raw materials.· First point of contact for all direct correspondence, inbound office phone calls, mail and visitors to our offices.· Ad-hoc support with travel, accommodation and training requirements.· PA support to Company director as required.· Supporting employee on boarding with IT induction and H&S procedures.· Managing H&S records for employees· General day to day office tasks and duties· Organising internal maintenance and repairs· Managing external suppliers· Assisting in planning company events – Christmas Parties, for example.You’ll also: · Demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience within a accounting role· Proficient in (or familiar with) accountancy/payroll software – preferably Quickbooks but training will be provided.· Experience with online banking· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel· Experience with Google sheets/docs/drive ^· Excellent communicator both written and verbal· Experience with PA responsibilities such as travel and diary requirements and other key administrative tasks.Full time hours: 9am – 5pm Mon-FriSalary: £33-35K per annumCompany Pension ProvidedCompany Private Healthcare Provided28 days holiday per yearJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionPrivate medical insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:accounting: 3 years (required)Application deadline: 20/03/2022Reference ID: COACC
