Position title – DevOps –Architect
Location: Bangalore – Global Delivery Services
Job purpose:
Architect in the IT Advisory Services team to be part of the delivery of Cloud Technology based projects for our customers across the globe.
Your Technical responsibilities: (part of description)
Provide Solution and Responsible for Architecting end to end CI/CD Solution for automating software delivery for various clients in on-prem and Cloud.
Actively participate in high level team activities such as suggesting Architecture improvements, recommending process improvements, and conducting tool evaluations.
Served as a hands-on subject matter expert for DevOps and Automation in an Azure infrastructure.
Provide solution for Infrastructure automation using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible.
Setup CI/CD pipeline in On-Prem and Cloud platforms.
Setup CI/CD pipeline for technology stack like: Java, Angular, .Net, Python, Bigdata.
Integrate Security tools in the CI/CD Pipeline such as SonarQube, CheckMarx, WhiteSource, Veracode, Fortify etc.
Write scripts for automation using Linux Bash, Perl, Python, Groovy, Powershell. Hands on experience with the Azure CLI, Azure Powershell and Gcloud CLI.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or ARM or Bicep and Ansible.
Utilize various open source technologies to develop DevOps Scripts
Use various tools to orchestrate solutions
Build independent web based tools to automate
Experience working with Azure SDK
Good Knowledge on Azure & Azure PaaS, SaaS and IaaS offerings
Good Knowledge on Azure Security
Write scripts and automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash
Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop etc
Understand how various systems work on cloud
Understand how IT operations are managed
Manage source control including SVN and GIT
Requirements (Qualifications)
We are looking for the candidates with the following:
BE/B.Tech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 12 – 14 years
Mandatory skills:
Directing and executing change programmes with a DevOps transition.
Defining change management strategy with the understanding of business drivers and strategic objectives, organizational behaviors, processes and approaches.
Stakeholder management, with the ability to operate and manage expectations on a senior management/executive level.
Tailoring the change management approaches based on the industry, current maturity and organizational set-up, and expected pace of transition.
Evaluating and improving business processes and business change management processes.
Experience & exposure to Azure Cloud
Working experience on Azure Cloud
Setting up CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps
Scripting knowledge on Azure CLI, Azure Powershell, Python/Groovy/PowerShell
Working experience in Docker/Docker Swarm or Kubernetes or OpenShift (Any container technologies)
Must be good in IaC tools Terraform or Bicep or ARM
Must be good in Config Mgmt tools like Ansible or Chef or Puppet
Deployment Strategies
CI/CD – End to End
Hands-on Azure experience
Preferred skills:
Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Good to have knowledge in Terraform Cloud, Ansible Tower
Experience working on CMMI / Agile / SAFE methodologies
