Reporting To: DGM – Business Intelligence & Analytics

Function: Strategy, Innovation, & Analytics

Position Summary:

The person will be responsible for carrying out analytics to support business decisions from both business and risk perspective and ensure timely preparation of presentations and reports for key stakeholders. The position is based at CreditAccess Grameen HQ in Bangalore.
Key Accountability:

Analytics:

Conduct analysis using available internal and external data; come up with actionable insights and present it in a suitable format for sharing with the senior management.
Perform competitive analysis on various operational and financial parameters.
Meet ad-hoc analysis requirements.
Support development of analytical models/business intelligence (BI) tool as and when sought.

BI and Reporting:

Ensure timely reporting to key internal and external stakeholders.
Meet ad-hoc data/customized reporting requirement as and when sought.
Automate regular reports using various tools like Python.
Liaise with IT Dept. for development of new reports, or improvement/changes in existing ones.

Position Requirements:

Knowledge & Experience:

3-5 years’ experience in analytics and reporting.
2 years’ experience of coding in R/Python–libraries like pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, sklearn.
Experience in creating mathematical models for regression and classification.
Experience using visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge on scripting in tools like UNIX, CMD.
Knowledge of cloud platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of loan products is a plus.

Education & Certification:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics.
