Your Role and Responsibilities

Work with multiple teams within IBM
Support Account Teams in sales pursuits around Data and AI opportunities or become embedded on a specific delivery project
Collaborate with IBM Technology, and other ecos system partners to develop and deliver data and AI solutions for Telecom clients
Interface with the IBM Software and IBM Consulting Data and AI offer teams to understand IBM’s Data and AI portolio of solutions and services
Collaborate with other BU & team members in sales pursuits, knowledge sharing, and harvesting methods, assets, and best practices
Responsibilities include leading the sale and delivery of Data and AI innovation and solutions at a major scale and with modern architectures and frameworks.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Candidate must have deep experience and knowledge of driving business and data/AI driven transformation across Telecom clients, by leveraging and harnessing the power of Data, Analytics, and AI, as proven and trusted advisor to C-level executives in the enterprise Data and AI space, with breadth and depth across all the Enterpise Data Management practices (Governance, Quality, MDM, Metadata, Catalog, Taxonomy, Privacy, Security, Visualization/Reporting, Data Science, Machine Learning, etc).
Familiarity with relevant enterprise data frameworks and industry standards across key data platforms.
10+ years of experience working directly with in Telecommunications including service providers, carriers, networks and broadcasters
10+ years of experience as an industry expert with experience in helping telecom companies transform their systems, network, and business processes, especially in terms of customer service and/or network operations
8+ years of experience with Data strategy, modernization and transformation using cloud-enabled Data and AI platforms, involving the architecture of modern data platforms with technologies
8+ years leading Data Modeling and Architecture and driving best practices for data management, and mentoring the development of data management expertise in their clients, across the data modeling lifecycle
8+ years Implementing large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based as well as client-owned platforms
Deep expertise and skllls across the Enteprise Data Management practice (Business Process Modeling, Business Rule Management, Data Management, Conceptual and Logical Data Modelling – Structured, Metadata Management, Data Quality Management, Data Strategy Consulting, Enterprise Data Management, Data Governance & Stewardship, Data Policy & Procedures Development, etc)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Preferably the candidate has been in either a pre-sales or delivery techinical role related to Data and AI solutions and services for telecom clients and organizations.
Experience designing highly scalable data engineering solutions on any of the cloud platforms – Amazon Web Services, Azure and Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, Databricks
Knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Modeling, DataOps, DevSecOps, Cloud standard,s and adopting best practices and policies in the Data Management space
Experience with enterprise data architecture for transactional systems, analytical platforms, master data management, data governance frameworks, data integration and large-scale data migration
Experience with relational and non-relational data stores (Hadoop, Object Stores, Hadoop, Db2, Netezza, MangoDb, EDB), Data Lake and Data Fabric concepts
Experience with governance, data integration and related technologies (IBM Cloud Pak for Data, Watson Knowledge Catalog, Information Governance Catalog, Information Analyzer, Guardium, Advanced Data Privacy, Data Virtualization, DataStage, Kafka, NiFi, etc.)
Experience in data privacy and regulatory compliance and familiarity with industry and government regulations that impact Data and AI solutions (GDPR, CCPA, etc)
Familiar with relevant industry standards and certifications across Data Governance, Data Modeling, Cloud-native Data and AI Platforms
