Expected Profile for Mechanical Design Engineer – Lift Trucks (Port Solutions Engineering)
Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree holder in Mechanical / Production Engineering from reputed university.
Experience: Sound knowledge of Solid Works & AutoCAD with Min. 2 to 3 years of design experience in field of Crane Industry OR Lift Trucks Industry OR Material handling equipment OR Special Purpose Machines.
Job Description
Study and understand the project specifications as well as details of project.
Knowledge of computer assisted design software tools.
To understand, interpret, conceptualise, the engineering drawings with design skills.
Usage of Team Center with Solid works & AutoCAD
To make the drawings & 3D Models as per Konecranes practices or guidelines.
To plan his own activity within the project to reach desired targets, with good quality.
Once the drawings are ready, with corrections if any, handover to leading engineer.
To keep proper and effective communication between team members.
To follow company policy / rules.
Skill sets needed:
Good English Communication
Expert in Solid Works & AutoCAD
Expert in Team Center
Sound knowledge of basics of Engineering
Sound knowledge of welding, manufacturing processes, GD & T
Knowledge of hydraulics
Good in imagination of 2D views
Ability to work in team
Ability to work on site in Europe for 3 months in a row
Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 requirement
