The candidate shall be responsible for all production activities of Intel DevCloud deployments – a muti-site, multi-cluster hybrid environment which caters to developers and customers around the globe. The job involves driving all activities post engineering releases of the DevCloud Platform. The lead shall Drives all Day#2 activities for the DevCloud post deployment. Plan production rollouts, co-ordinate with hosting infrastructure (both on-prem and CSP) to ensure smooth deployments of ongoing DevCloud releases. Plan and ensure upgrades as needed to various stack components to fix vulnerabilities, hot fixes, and planned enhancements. Drives planned DevCloud maintenance and downtimes in sync with the On-Prem infrastructure changes Ensure regular security certifications / qualifications/ hackathons to keep the DevCloud platform vulnerability free Manages internal and external vendors (IT, Third Party hosting solutions, solution providers) to ensure all supporting functions deliver to the roadmap Manages Tier1 and Tier2 support for DevCloud customers – including workshops, outreach events Plans and manages any changes in scale (user base etc) of the platform
Qualifications
12-15 years of proven industry experience with at least 5 years in deploying and managing hosted platforms/ services in production Expertise in managing Cloud hosted Solutions / on prem solutions /hybrid solutions for business applications Understanding of the Full stack and high-level architecture of Cloud based applications Strong Experience in managing support functions for production systems (bug tracking, managing priority support, escalations etc) Good experience in the development life cycle of the Full stack solutions from requirements through production is added plus Familiar with agile methodologies and have experience in deploying solutions through agile development cycles Experience in managing 3rd parties / vendors for hosted solutions Strong s analytical or analysis and problem-solving skills Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with global teams and cultures and good communication skills Self-driven, ability to execute with urgency and work in nebulous problem areas Masters in Computer Science or allied field from a reputed University
