Summary
As a Developer within the CLM Application Management Team you take over accountability for excellent execution of SAP’s Cloud strategy. You will be dealing with the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our (internal) customers, to design, architecture, implementation, bug fixing and troubleshooting.
Role
In your role as Developer/Associate Developer you will work closely with international colleagues together on development projects with the following activities:
Design appealing and sustainable solutions for cloud operations using test-driven methodology.
Perform agile prototyping to evaluate which solution fits best for cloud operations.
Develop UIs and APIs.
Expectations
Work in a cross-functional team of talented colleagues as a good team player, following agile methodologies. No shyness regarding code reviews and pair programming.
Full-stack development of new Kubernetes based services to orchestrate and provision new solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform
Engage with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of the new solutions
Participate in the operations of the service following the DevOps principles
Role Requirements
Bachelors in computer science or related technical discipline
4 – 6 years of Experience
Experience in full-stack software development using at least one of the following programming languages: Go/Java Script/Java/C/C++/Python or similar languages
Knowledge of agile development and DevOps methodologies
Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in an agile team
Self-motivated, curious with ability to learn quickly and work with high integrit
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Go/Java Script programming language
knowledge of Kubernetes
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, React, AngularJS or a similar modern UI framework
Knowledge of JSON, REST/ODATA and SQL
Knowledge of SAP BTP Applications
Experience in using cloud infrastructures and services therein, e.g. with SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, GCP
