Role overview
As a Digital Product Executive, you will be supporting the Senior Digital Product Manager to drive and develop the product roadmap. You will help with customer journey, feature development and optimisation activity across our digital customer service platform, Bupa Touch (app and web).
The business requirement
You will have the ability to support building a constantly improving digital experience. The team will target the launch of new features via a dual platform approach (app and web), working with our internal and external partners to redesign customer journeys and improve the quality of the product experience.
The important stuff
You have experience supporting and making decisions on product direction: you have an enthusiasm and respect for great products and get excited creating them. Your passion for low friction, beautiful user experience is matched by your articulate and succinct writing and speaking skills.
You care as much about the customer experience as the technical details behind it. You already know that data is critical, want to measure performance and make decisions based on that. You are self-directed, energetic, and hungry to build high impact digital products.
What you’ll do
Support the Senior Digital Product Manager in developing a plan to transform digital self-service.
Support in the creation and execution of digital journey optimisation; including supporting the process of gathering insight, user research, briefing UX / design / copy, build, testing & deployment.
Understand customer behaviour, market trends and competitor landscape through insight and research.
Assist with gathering user requirements & user stories, refinement, and prioritisation processes.
Help to manage the end-to-end product backlog.
Support the test team with user acceptance testing and defect management and prioritisation.
This role requires occasional / ad hoc weekend working to support testing relating to digital releases. Time back in lieu is given for this commitment.
What you’ll bring
Absolute customer focus
Good understanding of digital principles including web analytics, customer insight, UX design, analytics, web development and user acceptance testing.
Sound grasp of user journeys and how to measure and improve them.
Able to interpret customer insights into a digital solution for our customers.
Able to collaborate and work with a wide range of skillsets
Attention to detail, ensuring quality doesn’t suffer because of a delivery deadline
Strong self-starter who’s able to work alone or with a group
Able to communicate in an open, confident, and honest manner with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
Enjoys being part of an open, friendly team working towards common goals.
Previous experience working in digital, digital product management or customer journey optimisation
Experience working with wider digital teams to delivery end to end experience – UX, design, copy, analytics and test teams.
Experience supporting and prioritising a development backlog.
Digital product management experience in a consumer-focused company, ideally in an agile environment
Hands-on expertise with tech builds, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between would be great
