Job Description : Job Purpose:
ETL Developer with strong analytical and technical ability with 7-8 years of experience in ETL technologies like Abinitio, Talend, Spark, DB2 and Oracle. Able to work independently, good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Be familiar with the specifics of the major file transfer protocols (FTP, sFTP, NDM, AS2) as well as messaging protocols (MQ, JMS) and proven experience with using them in a large scale environment.
Excellent time management, verbal and written communications skills, as the job entails simultaneously managing multiple projects with and stakeholders.
Solid knowledge of SQL in the context of a major RDBMS such as Oracle, DB2, UDB.
Experienced with XML (including schemas)
Familiar with major banking protocols, such as SWIFT 15022, 20022 and FIX
Prior experience with data mapping / transformation projects and tools like Ab-Initio, Talend ,Spark & other ETL tools etc
Comfortable with Linux environment and has ability to create automation shell scripts as needed.
Proactive attitude, ability to run projects with minimal direction given the geographically distributed nature of the team
Knowledge/Experience:
Experience in Abinitio Talend,Spark, Python
RDBMS – Oracle/ Db2 /SQL Server
Quick learner of new tools and technologies
Knowledge in Big data/ Hadoop is a plus.
Required Skills:
Experience in Abinitio Talend.
Working knowledge on Web based application architecture
Good working knowledge of script based programming languages e.g. Bash, Korn, Python
Working in a Batch Processing Environment and continuous flow
Technical experience with activities involving heavy reliance on data analysis skills, including data conversions, systems integration, reporting, business intelligence, or data warehousing very helpful
Scheduling tools like Autosys, korn,
Well versed with automated testing
Connectivity protocols – Knowledge of NDM, MQ, JMS,SFTP
Agile Experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
ETL(Abinitio/Talend) certification is a plus
