Job Description : Office/Accounts Manager Company descriptionMaple Tree care and Maple Biomass are involved in the arboriculture trade; covering all aspect of tree care and the recycling of its waste products creating Kiln Dried Firewood and wood chip to power the UKs power stations.Job descriptionMaple Tree Care is a busy Arboricultural company working with a range of clients covering many industry sectors to which we provide multi level tree surgery and clearance works. We are now recruiting for an experienced accountancy, tax, vat and payroll officer to assist in the day to day operations. Between our Maple Tree Care and our sister Maple Biomass we have a team of 29 staff and have clients all over the UK.We are looking to recruit an experienced bookkeeper / accounts manager with office experience at full business level to assist our office team, You should be a confident communicator who is able to liaise with clients and colleagues of all levels.Your duties will range from day to day bookkeeping and vat return preparation to simple financial statements and management accounts for the business.The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience and knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting with Sage. They will also have good problem solving and time management skills and a keen eye for detail. HR experience would be a bonus but not essential.If you are an experienced bookkeeper or accounts assistant looking for a permanent position in a growing company we would love to hear from you.Accounts Work:· Producing sales invoices using Sage Accounts· Maintaining the sales and purchase ledger on Sage Accounts· Requesting and maintaining Purchase Orders from customers· Producing debtor and creditor reports and credit control· Reconciling the bank accounts· Producing regular financial reports for the Director· Maintaining cash flow statements· Completing quarterly VAT returns and filing electronically· Supporting the external accountant in producing the Year End accounts· Dealing with financial paperwork and filingJob Type: Full Time Permanent (Ideal hours 8-4 or 9-5 mon-Fri)Job Types: Full time / PermanentSalary: £24,960 – £31,000Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From £24,960.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus schemeLoyalty bonusBenefits:Casual dressFlexible scheduleOn-site parkingSick paySchedule:Day shiftExperience:bookkeeping: 2 years (required)Reference ID: Office Manager
