Provide technical oversight and direction in the design of components, sub-systems, and features for Android Infotainment System.
Design/develop/test embedded applications in C and C++.
Work with global team to deliver software for automotive products.
Participate in design, code and system reviews.
Analyze existing embedded software to add features, make modifications, fix bugs, and/or port to different platforms.
Collaborate with the Software Architect and Design Champion to ensure alignment to the software architecture.
Support feature owners in the design of system features.
Create User Stories and drive the team by resolving roadblocks to meet customer milestones ontime.
8+ years work experience in Infrastructure, Network and Diagnostics.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
Create and maintain the Feature Product Backlog. Describe the desired user experience and the product requirements, and capture them on the Product Canvas or epic backlog across all product domains
Prioritize and sequence the Backlog according to business value or ROI
Demonstrated software design skills of automotive systems with mid to high complexity, inter process communication and embedded devices
Working Knowledge with AUTOSAR, DEM & DCM Integration & Configuration.
Working knowledge of Diagnostics functionalities like Session Control, Routine Control, DID, DTC, Dataset, Coding & Measured Values
Working knowledge of compilers, software debuggers (e.g. GDB), in-circuit emulators, JTAG debuggers
Working knowledge of software project planning and test plan development
Ability to work with or lead a team of remotely located software engineers
Must have a positive attitude, good oral and written communication skills, and able to work well in a team environment
Communicate status externally. The feature owner is the voice of the particular feature and its status to the outside world and should ensure that all channels of communications are open and that projects have the right amount of support required to succeed.

It is strongly desired that a person will have been a design owner for at least 3 years and have strong grasp on design patterns of an embedded system with a Real Time Operating System
