Job Description : As a result of our continuous growth and expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner.The successful candidate will work as an integral component of the Finance Team, leading F,P&A and Reporting Activities. As part of a lean and dynamic finance team you will participate in a broad range of financial accounting services centred around financial integration projects, financial modelling, cash-flow forecasting, month end and year end reporting, statutory accounting and audit engagement and enhancement of reporting to external and internal parties.Your duties will involve: You will take a lead role in all F,P&A Activities, maintaining and developing reporting and forecasting models. Working with all Profit and Cost Centre owners across the business to gain insight into variances in order to drive commercial performance. You will be encouraged to make suggestions off the back of the insight gained to improve reporting, P&L performance and/or processes.Decisions around reporting structure, timetable and model assumptions will be common place.The successful candidate would need to be confident in presenting the outcomes of their analysis to a C-Suite audience. Having the skills to present, articulate and explain their workings in a clear and concise manner are important.The candidate will also take an active role assisting with Financial Statement review, audit and tax engagements with various entities across our pan European operations. Managing the compliance schedule and dealing with the audit teams on a day to day basis throughout external audits.Experience Required: Key CompetenciesA positive attitude with the ability to exceed expectations on a day to day basisThe ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines within a rapidly changing business environmentThe ability to work independently and act on own initiative after receiving appropriate directionThe ability to manage, motivate and elevate team performanceThe ability to rapidly acquire understanding and expertise with new procedures and systems.ExperienceExtensive experience in working with the application of accounting policies and standards.Experience of working with stakeholders and large scale data to establish and confirm reporting model requirementsExperience of working in a data planning environment for large blue chip organisations (manufacturing, retail, supply chain would be an advantage, but not essential)Proven Team Mentorship / Management skills and experienceEssential skills: Skills Required * Advanced level use of office IT systems: especially database and Excel skills, PowerPoint and presentation skills * Highly numerical, good ability and experience in handling large amounts of data: experience of data analysis and interrogation tools and methodologies and demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skillsProven high level of interpersonal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively work with senior business and technical stakeholdersProactive and inquisitive, high levels of drive and determination to meet tight deadlines, demonstrate a methodical approach to organising own work with the ability to efficiently prioritise workload.Good working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous but not essentialQualificationsFully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) ideally with audit background – would consider part qualified if well into the study programmeIdeally educated to degree level (IT, Math, Finance) but not essential. Must be able to demonstrate a strong academic backgroundHours of work: 40 Hours per week, Monday to FridayHybrid working with a requirement to 25% attendance each month to the Head office based in Warrington, CheshireJob Type: Full-time
