Job Description : Robert Half is partnered up with a Private Equity backed business in Central Derby to recruit a Finance Business Partner. This role would suit an experienced Management Accountant who wants to move towards more commercially focused roles in their career, or an experienced Finance Business Partner
The main focus of the role will be to support the General Managers with commercial finance insight. You will support them with the preparation of budgets and forecasts along with cost control.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Support and challenge the General Manager and Senior leadership team on all commercial decisions.
Monthly financial reporting for 3 large entities
Review and prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, 5 Year strategic plans
Participate in the strategy delivery meetings
Deliver key financial information
Lead continuous improvement and automation to the finance process
Key Attributes & Qualifications
Qualified accountant
Be able to understand the big picture and take a broad perspective when developing strategic priorities
You will identify and act on opportunities to deliver business results
Have the ability to gain the trust and support of key stakeholders whilst maintaining relationships both externally and internally
Understand different styles of communication and cultural differences when dealing with others
Push yourself and others to take on complex challenges in order to drive higher performance
