Work Dynamics
What this job involves:
The Finance Manager will act as a strategic business partner to the Work Dynamics Product and Operations team. S/He will be working closely with the APAC/Global Product/Operations Finance Director to provide detailed financial and business support to business leaders of the Product and Operations organizations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
To support monthly close activities related to Product and Operations (various work-streams);
To lead quarterly and annual budget/forecast activities.
To become a strategic partner and risk manager to the Product and Operations leaders.
To manage and communicate internal recovery of Operations costs with various stakeholders from Account and Product organizations
Support Work Dynamics APAC Product/Operations Finance Director in handling daily financial operations of various Product and Operations organizations
Support Global Product/Operations Finance Director in handling daily financial operations of various Product and Operations organizations, including Workplace Management, Portfolio Management and Project & Development Services
Drive global alignment around financial best practices to achieve streamlined processes and global consistency for Product & Operations
Contact point to regional operations leads to review financial and operational results.
Produce accurate financial reports, including operational and financial performance results, variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget vs. Forecast);
Provide and interpret monthly financial and operational results and KPI’s. Highlight risks (if any) to management in regular reviews and translate financial results to affect action.
Understand the key drivers of costs and efficiencies in his/her respective Operations groups
Help identify opportunities for cost-saving and productivity improvement.
Allocate direct cost recharge related to Operations shared platforms.
Work with Regional Tax team to ensure compliance and control in Cross Border charges/transactions.
Develop models/business cases for projects and delivery models
Work closely with country and regional finance counterparts and enlist this platform to deliver timely, accurate and insightful financial analysis
Ability to work with and manage leaders and peers who work in different countries and regions

Smart and experienced
You have a degree in finance, professional certification preferred with at least 8-10 years of post-qualification experience. You are able to think strategically, solve problems, make decisions and manage your key stakeholders. You have a real passion and interest for the industry, coupled with excellent business partnering & commercial finance experience.
Capable
You pay strong attention to detail and possess excellent problem-solving skills. You have good work ethic and a positive attitude with a “can do” mind-set and will follow through on issues. You are also a self-starter with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
Team player
You are team player who promotes open, constructive and collaborative relations with superiors, subordinates and peers, regularly contributes to team discussions and problem solving/ brainstorming sessions. You are also an effective listener and communicator.
