Job Description : About UsHaus Holdings is a hospitality and franchising business based in Glasgow. We are currently undergoing a rapid nationwide expansion through franchising and the opening of corporate owned restaurants of its two principal brands Döner Shack and The Haus (formerly Döner Haus).The Company currently operates five venues, with two more due for immediate launch and have development agreements in place that will see the opening of 100 restaurants within the UK over the next five years. The company is currently exploring International expansion options into the USA and with this growth, the Company is now looking to recruit a Finance Manager to work with the Senior Management Team to develop and maintain the Company’s finance strategy and systems.Job PurposeTo develop and ensure the provision of a comprehensive financial and accounting system for Haus Holdings to enable the Company to control, operate and grow effectively and efficiently.The Finance Manager will be responsible for the effective day-to-day financial operations as well as developing and maintaining accurate financial reports, systems and improving the Company’s financial standing.Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day financial operationsPrimary finance contact for Senior ManagementKey point of contact and support for all finance mattersDevelop and implement financial strategy and systemsPreparation, recording, collation and management of financial information and guidance to the Senior Management Team to support the development of the Company’s growth and enable informed decision makingLiase with appointed accountants to create and analyse financial reports. Ensure compliance with all financial standards, policies and Company requirementsProcess and monitor accounts payable/receivableDaily reconciling of bank transactionsIdentify and address discrepanciesPreparation and monitoring of forecast and budgetsCost controlAnalyse procurement to ensure value for money across all cost lines by liasing with suppliers/partnersIdentify and undertake potential funding optionsIdeal Candidate BS degree in Finance is preferredHolds a minimum of two years’ experience within a similar finance positionSolid understanding of bookkeeping, finance, and accounting principlesConfident with Excel, data analysis, reporting and finance/accounts software such as Xero/QuickBooksExceptionally trustworthy and reliableOutstanding communication, time management and organisational skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent financial, literacy and verbal skillsSelf-MotivatedProblem-SolverBenefits This role is a permanent full-time position based in our office in Port Dundas, Glasgow.
