Job Description : Finance ManagerAs a Finance Manager at Modulr you will have responsibility for producing full detailed sets of financial and management accounts and take a key role in scaling the Financial Control team. You will also support the Financial Controller and other staff ensuring we meet key deadlines.Tasks will include, but are not limited to:Lead month-end close through the production of monthly management accountsFull detailed reconciliation of the balance sheetProcessing of journalsVariance analysis between actual and planSupport Financial Controller with year-end audit queries, tax and compliance deliverablesManage outsourced payroll processGet involved in key finance projects to support continued growthDesign and implement new finance processes as we scale our businessSupport implementation of new finance systemsDay to day management of transaction control teamWhat will set you apart from other candidatesCan do attitude, willing to get support across all areas of financial control.You are a self-starter, enthusiastic and eager to learnYou are looking for a role where you can stand out and make an impactAbout youQualified accountant (CA or similar) with circa 3 to 5 years post-qualified experienceYou have an inquisitive mind and proactive approach to problem solving and issue resolutionYou’re passionate about financial management and supporting rapid business growth and are eager to help shape the direction and scope of a new companyYou love rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever’s required to achieve the goals of the finance team and wider businessYou’re structured and organised, able to handle the competing pressures of immediate tasks and alongside longer-term projects.An excellent communicator, you can translate complex finance into plain English.You’re comfortable working in a scale up business, where time is critical, and things change frequently.You enjoy self-leading and working independently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.You enjoy sharing your knowledge and sharing your ideas about how we can improve.You’ve a strong interest in FinTech.#LI-JL1#LI-HybridJob Type: Full-time
