Job Description : Who we areAiCore is a specialist Ai & Data career accelerator.We deliver an immersive programme that launches careers in Ai & Data at supersonic speed. Over 18 weeks users are dropped into a live environment that emulates a real industry system and challenged to build and deploy production-grade systems, learning under the mentorship of industry experts. These systems are created using blueprints from leading companies such as Facebook, Airbnb, Pinterest and more.97 million Ai roles will be created by 2025. There is no single path to one of those 97 million roles. But, there is a proven path – the AiCore programme.Hundreds of learners commit to the programme to launch their careers every year. You will play a vital role in scaling this to 3000 this year.We’re growing at 92% each quarter and to keep up this pace, we need more ambitious individuals to join our high performing team and take on vital responsibilities.Role OverviewHundreds of users depend on our Portal to make progress on implementing these industry AI systems every day and accelerate their career in the field. You’ll be responsible for implementing features that provide them with an ever improving experience.Day to day, you will be writing code to implement web app user interfaces, and interact with our back end services. Given the small size of our software team, you will have a big impact on the architecture of the frontend.Front end developmentWe’ve seen that developing features for our Portal’s user interface can have a huge impact on the numbers that we strive to influence. You’ll be responsible for implementing these and ensuring that our users experience nothing less than a beautifully engineered, consistently top-quality product.Some of the tools we use, which you should be familiar with, include:React/Typescript for implementing the UIRedux for our app storeMaterial UI for styling and their component libraryHusky for commit hooksGit & GitHub (obviously)Code reviewWe have to ensure we maintain a high standard of code so the product is easy to maintain and scale. Meet us and learn about AiCoreYou’ll first talk to Haron (over the phone) for ~15 minutes and won’t need to prepare anything in advance. The goal of this conversation is to make sure you understand what the role is, that the logistics work for you and a chance for you to ask any questions about our company, team culture, and product.2. Technical interviewEveryone has different strengths, and we want you to do your best work. Our goal is to figure out your technical aptitude, how you teach and what kind of support you would need from us in this.In this technical interview we will do a few practical exercises using React and Typescript.3. Interview with the foundersYou will have a longer, in-depth conversation with each Haron, Harry and Christian individually. This is so we can get to know you and mutually explore if we might be a good fit for each other. You won’t need to prepare anything in advance.This is primarily used to get a better feel for your experience, how you work, and where you may fit in.4. Reference conversationsWe will talk to a few people you’ve worked with before to learn more about how we can best work with you.
