£75k – £85k DOE + Benefits + Bonus

As an award winning and trusted recruitment partner for more than ten years to one of the world’s most trusted banking groups (a global network spanning more than 50 countries and more than $3.0 Trillion in assets), we have been asked to assist in the hire of a permanent Front End Developer. The role holder will be experienced in JavaScript and Angular Development, including RxJS (Reactive Extensions for JavaScript) and Building SPAs (Single Page Applications).

You will write software UI modules for a major new portal implementation, the aim of which is to make platform infrastructure self-managing and self-service. You will be involved in web design, and the structure and implementation of reusable components. You will document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Responsibilities will also include performance instrumentation, implementing code following SOLID principles and ensuring brand coherence throughout the web portal.

Key Experience / Requirements

In this role you will have some freedom to choose which tools you wish to work with and will be given support to learn new tools if desired. This is a front-end development position, but there is potential to gain further full stack experience too.

Hybrid Working Model: Our client has a commitment to a permanent hybrid working model moving forward. The standard split is two days a week on-site (in the EMEA HQ in London – EC2Y) with three days working remotely from home. There may be further flexibility if needed (e.g., only one day a week in the office). If you wish to spend more time in the office this is also available to those who want it.
