Department Overview:
As part of Global Markets Risk and P&L IT, the XVA IT team is responsible for the development of the XVA platform for the bank.
The XVA IT team covers the following main responsibilities:
Calculation of XVA P&L, XVA Risks and XVA P&L Explain for XVA Trading Desk
XVA Pricing Services for Sales and XVA Desk
XVA Stress Tests
Digital tools for XVA Users and Production Support teams
Some of our core technologies are C#, .NET, SQL Server, Messaging Services (MQ), RESTful API, SignalR, JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, AngularJS, React, Git.
Key Contributions:
As a senior web developer in the XVA IT team, you will lead the development of our Front-end platform.
Our front-end platform contains multiple apps required by the XVA users (Production Monitoring, Audit, Investigation Tools, Data management, XVA pre trade workflow, basic XVA Risk viewers…). Some apps are developed in Angular JS and the new ones in React.
Our back-end systems are being migrated from batch processes to a service-based architecture.
Excellent coding skills, design skills and software craftsmanship are required.
We are looking for candidates with a passion for technology.
Competencies:
Deep understanding with multiple significant projects on Web applications (Javascript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS/LESS/Sass, RxJS, RequireJS, Grunt/Gulp, Bootstrap, NodeJS, …)
Deep understanding and experience of Object Oriented Programming, patterns and principlesDeep understanding and experience of service-oriented architecturesExperience of ASP.NET C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystemExperience of MS SQLDemonstrable experience with DevOps tools
Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
Specific experience:
Desirable: Several years’ experience working in corporate environments
