Job Description : Alchemist India (NCR-based CAT-famed coaching firm) has a technology backbone to manage all aspects of their operations & also an innovative LMS platform. The firm is looking to hire a Tech/Dev Lead who has experience in UX too. The position is for the fastest if not for the brightest. Be the beacon for the team. Lift the mantle and run ahead of the team, always, and reap the rewards!- We are doing Meteor.js (JavaScript web-dev framework), Angular.js & Angular, Cakephp 1x, Mongo, NGNIX & MySQL and deploy on AWS cloud. While we continue to work on this stack, the idea is to continuously move to more convenient and modern platforms for scaling business, find better technology teams and leverage more modern tech to build technology. Must think & design before code.- We will check your education but a brand isn’t necessarily a bottleneck! Life starts after we complete education, at times!Key Responsibilities: 1. Understand product/design/technology requirements from the product owner.2. Keep a regular work-estimate & planning chart for sharing with the product owner.3. Design, Document the design, Work with developers to work/troubleshoot, Advise developers for better design/coding style/pattern, Estimate the timeline/effort & track, Own UX for the product, Deploy in cloud environment, Take responsibilities for failures/fixes/timely troubleshoot, Be the master tester (along with QA), Manage web-infrastructure, Manage security & enablement.4. Identify process improvement (e.g. Git compliance, Dev/Ops, Work-planning & Tracking, Certificates/Licenses5. Come up with UX of the product6. Technologies: Meteor.js, jQuery, Angular.JS, Cakephp 1x, Node.JS, NGNX, MySQL, AWS/Any cloud, MongoDB, Xamarin/Flutter/Ionic7. Frameworks/Tools/Methods: IDEs, oAuth/JWT, REST APIs, Git, DevOps (any tool), Microservices, Kubernetes/Docker, SPAs, Responsive Apps, Bootstrap,Mandatory skills that Alchemist will need in you:1. Multi-stack/full-stack development experience for more than 6 yrs and an experience of working with teams for more than 3 yrs.2. Be strong in Linux (3+ yrs). Don’t ignore “windows” though. Get most things done. Challenge the founder’s skills in writing code from the past. You should be quick to write code & think of effective automation. We all fail, shouldn’t deter you!3. Lift the burden of managing the cloud infra for the firm. AWS EC2 & new tracks (e.g. S3, RDS etc.). We aren’t married to the CPs & change to google or MS if that helps!4. Must have coded heavily in 1-2 languages.5. Must have coded & had experience in front-end & back-end, both. Has sustaining worked in UX in a proven manner on 1-2 products at least.6. Must know traits of Git (administering, best practices, environment management, CI/CD) or should be willing to learn & do fast. Should establish right practices with the dev team of 2-3 people.7. Be the guide for the team in every tech. We will embrace at least one non-native mobile-app tech or also make every product responsive for being operable on the mobile.Qualities:- Faster than the rest. Lead by example. However, you don’t have to be a great people manager. Have to own the dev team or the technology partner/vendor’s team, however.- Must be bitten by the bug of best practices (planned approach, checklist, agile, scrums, one tool to manage the dev).- Take the lead and not sit back to wait for commands. Know from your past and drive change. Be the energy that the team likes.- Use modern digital tools for communication (chat boards & such, mobile-without headphone@ work is a passé!)- Should follow a routine and must take his/her own stand. Have aspirations.- We will have the customers.
