Job Description : RoleThe Accountant is responsible for the management accounts for head office and the development companies, including banking, payroll and end of year routines.This role also has an important controllership function where they will be responsible for ensuring payment runs, DD collections, VAT returns and payroll postings are processed correctly each month across head office and its operating sites.Essential qualities & experience in candidateAccounting graduate with minimum 1 years experience gained in an accounts department.Good thorough understanding of accounting and investment principles.Seeking to study and complete professional accountancy qualifications (CIMA, ACCA)Have a “can do” attitude with an approach to use initiative rather than wait to be asked.A flexible approach to work in the office helping in all areas where necessary and a team player.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Must be MS Excel proficient with ability to use vlookups, if statements and general excel formulae.Proficient in other MS applications including Outlook and Word.Want to work in the property development industry.Job Types: Full-time, Temp to permContract length: 6 monthsSalary: From £35,000.00 per yearBenefits:Additional leaveCompany eventsLife insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:As we work in the care sector, we have policies and procedures in place for the safety of our staff, residents, suppliers and other key stakeholders.Education:Bachelor’s (preferred)Experience:accounting: 1 year (preferred)Language:English (required)Application deadline: 06/03/2022Reference ID: AccountantExpected start date: 07/03/2022
