Healthcare Support Worker
We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking Health Care Support Workers to join our team in our award winning orthogeriatric hip fracture ward at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. This an exciting opportunity to further develop core skills and consolidate previous experiences gained, working at one of the largest acute hospital trusts in the country. You will be working in a challenging area amongst a large multidisciplinary team with the support of senior staff delivering care to a high standard.
The ward, D6, is made up of 44 beds, specializing in fragility hip fractures as well as caring for a range of patients who have suffered various types of Orthopaedics trauma. The unit has been divided into two teams east wing and west wing to coordinate more efficiently.

You will be passionate about the care you provide and take pride in supporting our patient with their individual care needs.

There will also be the opportunity to attend in house study days that will support your development as well as support you are keeping clinically up to date.
