Job Description : Have you got previous experience of running a successful specialist residential college including care, teaching, and learning, commercial development and financial viability?
Do you have a proactive and focused approach when it comes to outcomes/person led care and support?
Are you able to ensure appropriate systems, regulations and processes are in place, fit for purpose and are being adhered to, to ensure educational and care services meets the essential requirements of relevant inspection and regulatory bodies including CQC and Ofsted?

The Director of Care and Education Services will be an outward-facing ambassador for both the college and the charity, through developing networks and establishing relationships with relevant bodies, funders, local authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to further the aims of the college.
Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Care and Education Services will provide strategic leadership at a specialist residential and day access college, ensuring that the college achieves its objectives and implementing and monitoring strategic plans against progress and targets.

This position will initially start as an interim role between January 2022 and August 2022, with a full-time permanent opportunity available beyond this based on performance.
What will this role involve?

To ensure a high-quality service is provided to meet the educational, and clinical needs of day and residential students.
To ensure the college operates on a sound financial basis by monitoring incoming funding and expenditure levels to ensure financial viability by recommending and taking corrective action as appropriate.
To ensure that a long-term strategy is in place, by developing and implementing proposals that respond to future needs that are thoroughly researched and consistent with the strategy and the Charity’s objectives.
To effectively manage and monitor the performance of the Deputy Director – Education and Therapy and the Deputy Director Care, Clinical and Assessment
To deliver effective student recruitment to enable sustainable student levels for 2022 and beyond, via robust and effective assessment processes for assessing prospective students and continued assessment of continuing students.
To create a culture of collaborative working across college functions to reduce silo working encouraging a culture of respect and appropriate challenge.

Details/ benefits of the role:

This is a full-time role, working 37 ½ hours a week.
Salary £70,000 – £75,000 based on experience.
You will get 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).
