We are currently seeking an experienced developer who’s used to working with web technologies to join our fast-moving middleware team. The successful candidate will be an excellent java developer, with a solid track record of delivering on major websites. They’ll be expected to work closely with the frontend development teams, SEO, and content teams to ensure that our website is best in class. The Websites middleware team is responsible for the CMS system on which all of IG’s websites are built. These sites are key to the business and see upwards of 2 million hits a week. You should have had exposure to Agile development environments and be keen to follow best practices and suggest areas for improvement.

From the team
Websites owns a range of systems that support the IG websites and are face of marketing for various products and services in IG. The problems we need to solve are many and varied and may be technical or Business-oriented in nature. As part of team our tasks vary from looking at performance, memory management, google analytics, sitemaps, automated monitoring, market analysis trends display, migrating application to Kubernetes and incorporating new products into websites. We are a close-knit and dedicated team with varying levels of experience, and we can’t wait to onboard our newest member!
