Job Description : Who You’ll Work With
You will be based in our Chennai or Bengaluru office as part of our Visual Graphics and Media team.
This team provides support in creating, designing and formatting electronic presentations for McKinsey consultants worldwide. Business presentation designers work on different projects every day, interacting with consultants, team leaders, peer designers and project coordinators to deliver high-quality presentations. We ensure that our firm’s parameters of excellence are met within the boundaries of business presentation design.
Vishal Graphic and Media is a service line that is part of McKinsey Global Services India Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of McKinsey & Company in India, and has offices in Bengaluru, Chennai and Trivandrum with more than 1,400 colleagues.

What You’ll Do
You will help our consultants tell their stories using the most creative, innovative and engaging presentation content and design.
In this role, you will help provide compelling and effective visual communication solutions for a wide variety of needs from single slide production in PowerPoint to “kick-start” a meeting to customized presentation designs and alternative storytelling solutions. Through innovative visual strategies, you will translate complex ideas into compelling and memorable visual stories that create impact. You will problem-solve within the teams and/or with our consultants to develop ideas to transform presentations into a more visually engaging and interactive experience for our clients.
You will handle an extensive schedule of design requests and assignments from consultants in various locations with different priorities.
Qualifications
Graduate or final-year student in a design-related field such as graphic design, advertising design, photography, architecture with an updated design portfolio
1+ years of professional experience in a graphics-related field or freelancing
Ability to express ideas graphically
Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines
Quality-driven mindset and excellent attention to detail
Collaborative problem-solving approaches
Willingness to learn and share knowledge and experience with peers
Open mindset towards change and eagerness for continuous improvement
Ability to build robust and credible relationships with peers in a highly interactive working environment
Willing to work in shifts according to business needs
Ability to communicate fluently, both verbally and in writing, in an all-English business environment
