Job Description : The RoleYou will join a small team at an exciting time as we design and develop several new products, including ecommerce web apps, react native mobile applications and extending existing cloud-based solutions into feature rich products. You will take part in the whole development process from product design and prototyping to development, testing and deployment. As part of the team, you will work on both the frontend applications built with React and React native and the backend APIs created on NodeJS. In addition to this you will also help to design, develop and maintain our websites and existing products using the same JavaScript based tooling.The job will be a remote/home working position with the option of working in an office environment should you prefer; you can join us in our Bury St Edmunds HQ or we can also arrange for suitable shared office space near you. The ideal candidate will be able to start contributing to our products and projects immediately so having existing experience developing modern JavaScript based applications in either a commercial environment or working on personal projects is of high importance.Our main requirement is that you have experience using most of the technologies listed below or the ability to adapt to these technologies quickly.*HTML and CSS*Modern front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)*JavaScript based mobile development frame works (React Native, Cordova)*Modern front-end tooling (Webpack, npm, Yarn, gulp.js)*GraphQL and REST APIs*Stripe billing solutions*Backend technologies (ideally experience with NodeJS and GraphQL servers)*Serverless technologies, workflows and platforms*GitSQL based databases (Postgres, MySQL)About You The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:*You should have a real passion for web development, and the desire to develop yourself and learn quickly*Drive to develop high quality experience for users*Interest in whole development process from start to finish*Exceptional time management skills*Excellent problem solving and communication skills*Ability to work as part of a team and individually*Demonstrated desire to learn new thingsThe Benefits*Salary of £20,000 to £25,000 per annum*25 Days holiday per annum*Flexible hours*Home working*Mobile phone subsidy*Subsidised gym membershipJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per yearBenefits:Flexible scheduleGym membershipWork from homeSchedule:Monday to Friday
