This is an exciting time to join our rapidly expanding company offering opportunities for career progression, training and the chance to shape the future of the integration product portfolio.Operating within the Healthcare industry, our clients rely on strong and robust interfaces to exchange clinical data between their various systems, every day, 24 hours a day.As a member of our DevOps team, you will be required to investigate, analyse, deploy, configure, and document system deployments with a high level of detail and accuracy.You’ll be working with colleagues from the UK and across Europe for clients around the World.Duties & Responsibilities: · Assist with the deployment and configuration of one or more products in our software portfolio.· Support and improve existing installations and configurations.· Review and document deployments.· Understand and use provided tooling to streamline system management.· Some client-facing tasks· Occasional out-of-hours support· Be an active member of the project lifecycle, through implementation design, delivery to support.Previous experience/ qualifications: Ideally, your previous experience will include:· One year’s systems administration or DevOps experience· Working experience of supporting Linux/Unix production systemsBackground in the high-tech industry, with at least one year of hands-on experience in systems administration and DevOps processesExperience working as a part of a growing, dynamic organisation, and a willingness to adapt accordinglySome experience in delivering technology services and products in a NHS/healthcare environmentTechnical Skills: · Good Linux sysadmin knowledge· Windows sysadmin (basic knowledge)· AWS (basic knowledge)· Databases (basic knowledge of at least one of): MS SQL; PostgreSQL; MySQL· Orchestration tools/scripting (e.g. Bash; Ansible; etc.)· CI/CD processes (e.g. Gitlab CI)· Docker (OCI containers)· IPv4/v6, HTTP/S, DNS, load-balancing, firewalls, etc.· Desirable- Kubernetes- Kustomize/Helm- ELK stack- Prometheus/Grafana- VMware- Back-up technologies- A basic knowledge of Web Services (SOAP/REST)- Basic knowledge of Java backend development- Knowledge of APIs and automated exchanging of data over the InternetThis is a unique opportunity for an ambitious Sysadmin/DevOps Engineer who is looking to build on their experience and take their knowledge to the next level across a broad range of healthcare applications.Personal Attributes: · Excellent attention to detail· Excellent English communication and written skills· Self-motivated and supportive of team working, including working with other teams (in particular, deployment and support)· Good communication and listening skills· Enjoy working within a team· Can demonstrate initiative· Good customer service skills· Ability to interpret and analyse issues, and communicate them effectively, identifying/implementing resolutions to diverse problems· A “side project” or two that you’ve built/hacked for fun· Keen to investigate and learn new skills and technologies· Enjoys applying lateral thinking· Willingness to travel abroad (infrequently, when permitted)· A valid driving licenceCompany benefitsAs well as a competitive salary, Cloud21 have a great benefits package to offer, which includes:· Generous holiday per year· Life assurance· Private Healthcare· Enhanced Pension scheme· Discretionary company bonus· Cycle to Work scheme· Inhouse training and developmentMost of all, we are looking for an open, passionate person who feels inspired by our mission, can identify with our values and is a true team player.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:system administration: 1 year (preferred)Reference ID: JL-JSa
