Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant – DevOps Engineer, Operations
Responsibilities:
Manage the configuration of the build infrastructure (Windows and Linux)Develop CICD pipeline and educate Team membersImprove reliability and performance of test and build processesDesign and maintain automated release channelsProactively look for ways to automate the installation and upkeep of build tools and dependenciesReview and recommend solutions and tools to improve the software development processOwn the process for releasing builds into QA and up to productionManaging pre/post release code mergesManaging the code branching strategiesBuilding the bridge between Engineering (dev & QA) and IT Operations
Qualifications:
Must Have
1. Build and Deployment Automation
o Jenkins Pipeline Groovy
o Teamcity
o Demonstrable track records of implementing continuous deployment (CD) through to production
o Git/github
o 5+ years of Devops experience
2. Docker
o Experience with containers as build artifacts
o Configuration, provisioning and deployment to production environments
o 2+ years hands on
3. Orchestration using Kubernetes
o Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture
o Hands On experience on Implementing Infrastructure on Redhat Openshift.
o Experience on Helm Charts and yaml scripts
o Monitoring and managing alerts
4. Monitoring
o Versed with Monitoring tools Like Grafana/Prometheus/Geneos
5. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum based development methodology.
o Experience in using Atlassian suite of products like Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA. Experience in Python, Shell, Bash etc.. scripting is preferred.
