Highly Experienced in Infrastructure and strong in DevOps practices.
Worked in a large complex organization.
Comfortable working and influencing across many infrastructure domains.

Concise communicator – able to translate detail into a concise story, getting immediately to the punch line.

Business
As Technical Lead you be a key member of Technology Team and responsible for delivering the various technology and vendor solutions used in Regulatory Technology . The role holder will form a key part of a fast-paced, ambitious, delivery programme.

People and Talent
Areas of technology expertise
Strong understanding in application development skills in Java or similar language (Shell Scripting, nodejs, Python or Ruby).
Strong knowledge of Application Development process and Agile Methods.
Strong knowledge of Linux administration: configuration and tuning, networking, logging, storage, and installation and integration of third-party software.
Ability to write scripts in one or more languages. (shell, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc…).
Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 7.
Broad knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies along with change and configuration management practices in Linux-based environments.
Solid knowledge of design patterns and refactoring concepts.
Strong knowledge and expertise in DevOps solution delivery and strategy.
Container Orchestration Technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Infrastructure Development, Cloud Orchestration and Automation.
Datacenter Automation / Runtime Automation.
Modern Clustering Technologies (e.g. ZooKeeper, etcd).
Network Load Balancing technologies (F5).
Knowledge of monitoring applications and servers with any of these systems (ELK, AppDynamics).
Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP networking, subnetting and routing concepts, and distributed computing concepts.
Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis.
