In doing so, you will be striving for continuous improvement with the ongoing development of features to increase the core value proposition of our product with existing customers’ helping cement our place as a ‘best of breed’ WFM platform.**Our stack is Ruby + Rails / Javascript / PostgreSQL / AWS / Docker / React + Native. As a senior software engineer we expect you to have deep expertise with at least one component of the stack. Further training and development will be provided following commencement.**As we shake off the start-up moniker and move well into scale-up territory, there are plenty of exciting challenges that face us in the near future. A few of the big problems we’ve tackled recently:**Rebuilding our mobile app using a new technology and deploying to close to 200k users (while contributing to the state of the art along the way!)Scaling our web app to support more than 20k users in a single account, and decreasing our timeouts by a thirdRefreshing our infrastructure; exploring database sharding & horizontal scaling, the move to K8sRe-architecting our award interpretation service while still performing hundreds of thousands of accurate calculations a dayLaunching best-in-market features, such as our Wage Compare calculator**If these challenges sound interesting – reach out to us for a chat!**About You**Usually (but not a strict requirement) 7+ years experience in software development with a background working for a Product or SaaS company preferredDeep expertise across our whole stack, which you share by coaching others.Capable of architecting substantial products/features which set the standard for the rest of the team to build upon.Strong interpersonal skills to compliment established team cohesion and collaborationAdept mentoring ability as a senior providing material feedback on the work of developers and junior developers to establish what is needed for them to growNo degree or formal qualification required**About Tanda**Looking for a fulfilling role engineering one of the world’s leading workforce management systems?At Tanda, we’re on a mission to provide the world’s #1 workforce management platform for businesses with shift working and employees paid by the hour.
