Job Description : We are currently looking to hire the above vacancy for a renowned University based in the United Arab Emirates.Key Challenges include, but are not limited to:Provide the best possible standards of educational experience to students in line with the curriculum, policies and procedures.Work with the Academic Coordinator and/or Department Coordinator, Student Services, Campus Manager and other key stakeholders in the delivery of modules at the campusDevelop and maintain strong and effective stakeholder consultation.Participate in promotional events as reasonably required.Student pastoral care.Other duties as required commensurate with the skills and responsibility of this role.Qualifications & Experience:Master’s degree in games design, game development, or a related creative discipline.If the candidate only holds a bachelor’s degree in one of the mentioned fields, they will be required to pursue a Master’s degree when appointed.3+ years of professional game design.Familiarity with animation, physics, statistics, and game mathematics.Expertise in level design using Unity 3D or Unreal engines;Expertise in writing game design documents and level design documents.Strong knowledge of game prototyping and testing techniques.Familiarity with unity3d and game programming.Familiarity with VR/AR development.Excellent command of spoken and written English is required.Strong knowledge of at least one of these subjects:o Storytellingo Rational game designo Game monetizationDesirable skills/extras:Five years tertiary teaching experience or relevant adult education/training is preferred, though not mandatoryExperience with agile development methodologies.Experience leading a team.Mobile games/app development experienceExperience with game assets creation.Core Competencies:Scholarly expertise and/or industry expertiseDemonstrated teaching skillsAbility to build relationships with all levels of the campusStudent-focusedProficient in the use of industry specific software/hardware and processesExcellent understanding of transferable skillsCultural awarenessCommitment to continuous improvementJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to AED14,000.00 per monthWork Remotely:No
