Job Description : We are currently looking to hire the above vacancy for a renowned University based in the United Arab Emirates.Key Challenges include, but are not limited to:Provide the best possible standards of educational experience to students in line with curriculum, policies and procedures.Maintain a professional manner at all times.Work with the Academic Coordinator and/or Department Coordinator, Student Services, Campus Manager and other key stakeholders in the delivery of modules at the campusDevelop and maintain strong and effective stakeholder consultation.Participate in promotional events as reasonably required.Student pastoral care.Other duties as required commensurate with the skills and responsibility of this role.Qualifications & Experience: Master’s degree in computer science, games development, or a related discipline from a recognised university.If the candidate only holds a bachelor’s degree in one of the mentioned fields, they will be required to pursue a Master’s degree when appointed..Excellent command of spoken and written English is required.5+ years of professional-level C# or C++ programming.Familiarity with animation, physics, and gameplay programming;Expertise in game development using Unity 3D or Unreal engines;Strong knowledge of OOP design principles;Strong knowledge in game development mathematics.Familiarity with software engineering principles, UML, and design patterns.Practical and demonstrated experience with VR/AR DevelopmentStrong knowledge of at least one of these subjects:Game designArtificial intelligenceNetwork programmingDesirable skills/extras: Five years tertiary teaching experience or relevant adult education/training is preferred, though not mandatoryExperience with agile development methodologies and leading a team.Mobile games/app development experience.Core Competencies: Scholarly expertise and/or industry expertiseDemonstrated teaching skillsAbility to build relationships with all levels of the campusStudent-focusedProficient in the use of industry specific software/hardware and processesExcellent understanding of transferable skillsCultural awarenessCommitment to continuous improvementJob Type: Full-timeSalary: Up to AED14,000.00 per month
