All expecting first class support from their professional partners.About the jobYou will ensure your clients receive a cost-effective, high quality, timely and accurate accounting service. As an ambitious Management Accountant, you’ll see this as your next step towards Finance Manager and beyond. Exactly what you’ll do on a day to day basis will be influenced by your clients, but could include:*Producing monthly reporting pack to include, headlines, monthly P&L, actual versus budget, balance sheet, aged debt analysis,historical cashflow analysis, cashflow forecast, client specific analysis, month end checklistProviding commentary and variance analysisOperating as a finance business partnerProviding commercial finance support to aid business objectivesCritically reviewing the P&L and balance sheet reportsCommunicating financial data to non-financial client contactsAssisting with budgets and forecastsPreparing audit schedules and assisting auditors during fieldworkCalculating and posting month end journalsPreparing balance sheet reconciliation file against trial balanceAgreeing intercompany balancesUpdating exchange rates and revaluing accounts where requiredUpdating cashflow forecastResponsible for dealing with Treasury management and day to day cash managementPreparing and electronic filing of the VAT returnManaging virtual or direct teamContinuously reviewing, evaluating and improving internal controls*About you*Our ideal candidate will have strength and experience in most of these areas, but we’ll also consider those who show aptitude and potential.Graduate, recently qualified with ICAEW, CIMA or ACCA – this might be your first or second role post-qualificationA good understanding of end-to-end financial processes and controlsExperience preparing monthly Management AccountsHighly presentable, numerate, confident and outgoing with excellent communication skillsStrong systems user, including ExcelExperience in practice or within the technology industry would be an advantageJob Type: Permanent
