Job Description : We are looking for a Manager – Digital Operations & Risk to join our Digital Leadership Team. In this exciting and challenging role, you’ll report to the Tribe Lead where you’ll drive operational excellence in the Tribe including; operational efficiency, systems and processes, governance oversight and risk management and adherence.
In digital, we have the mindset that stretches the possibilities of future customer experiences, we strive to think outside the square and stay a step ahead. We look after all the digital touchpoints including the ING App and websites for our customers and ensure a simple and optimal customer experience. The projects in our portfolio both optimise the current customer experience and build the foundations as well as focus on future customer experiences to enable us to empower our customers.
The successful candidate will own the Operational Excellence Strategy, drive efficiency and outcomes of the team and take a lead role in planning, lift effectiveness of the risk control framework and will work with business partners to manage dependencies.
What are you going to do? You will…
Establish the Operational Excellence Framework for the Digital Tribe
Oversight of governance model and adherence.
Identify process efficiencies for incoming pipeline of work and tracking to closure
Assess tools for managing workflow & providing visibility.
Set up of operational processes and embedding of these in the business
Manage the Risk framework and working with the 3LOD model.
Develop an assurance capability to establish operating effectiveness of the control framework.
Involve in the day-to-day management of the risk actions and future planning.
Manage coordination of supplier and contract reviews and procurement processes.
Manage the audits and audit outcomes, events and issues ensuring timely resolution and closure.
What are we looking for? Someone who has…
A positive attitude, team player and ability to get things done.
Experience in a customer environment, where the customer needs are at the heart of the proposition development.
10+ years of relevant experience of which must have demonstrated experience in Operational management and / or 1st or 2nd Line Risk.
Excellent understanding of operational risks and control frameworks in Banking
Initiative and drive, a true self-starter who is confident to work independently whilst also performing more complex tasks and analysis.
Strong influencing skills to manage stakeholder expectations to ensure optimal outcomes are achieved.
A holistic view and determines priorities based on context.
Enjoys leading a team and working across supporting teams.
Out-of-the box thinking, who likes to work in a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment.
Sound analytical skills and the ability to make decisions based on data.
