What you’ll do
Design marketing strategies to enable exponential user growth and brand building in the regional markets (with a focus on AP/TL/TN)
Drive brand communication across Above-the-Line & Digital Media channels by crafting sharp evocative briefs & collaborating with external partners to deliver powerful campaigns
Define a culturally relevant positioning for the brand in regional markets within the country
Own the marketing mix design and improve the return on investment!
Develop a deep understanding of Spotify’s target consumer and become an advocate across company initiatives
Design, conduct and analyze consumer research and brand health tracking in tandem with the Insights team and the MSO lead.
Partner closely with the Insights and Analytics teams to define a campaign, performance metrics to ensure a high level of efficiencies
Elevate the work of cross-functional teams: You will serve as a key voice in ensuring Marketing, PR, Social Media & Editorial teams are speaking with one voice to deliver consistent messaging and build equity
Who you are
Proficient in either Tamil or Telugu language
A minimum of 10 years’ total work experience with at least 5 years in core brand marketing focusing in the South Indian market
You love entertainment and consume significant amounts of regional content
You are a thought-leader with a strong and well-informed point of view to critically analyze the latest trends and tactics to help grow earned media
Candidates with core FMCG background & experience of having managed brands & product launches in AP/TL/TN would be preferred
Have a sound understanding of consumer insights and how they are translated into creative strategy and campaigns
Have deep knowledge in running a 360-campaign (acquisition-led) from strategy development to tactical execution (including TVCs, digital/social ads, print and out-of-home)
Have an understanding of the digital ecosystem and current marketing trends in acquisition
Should understand marketing & media analytics to evaluate campaign performance and optimize
You are a cross-functional leader who can engage, listen and collaborate with internal teams to align on overall strategy and goals as well as creative partners including production houses and talent
Ability to run multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously working both independently and in close collaboration with a variety of stakeholders
Are unafraid to take risks and can change course without getting stalled by challenges along the way
