As part of Digital Transformation Services, the DIP Department is responsible for providing Master Data Management (MDM), Integration and Process Automation (RPA/BPM) solutions and related services to its Amadeus’ internal business partners in agreement with the Amadeus methodology & Guidelines.
This opportunity corresponds to a Java Full-Stack software engineer position in the MDM solution team.
You will design, develop and maintain Core Java based applications
The MDM solution based on a software vendor framework solution called TIBCO EBX.
The goal of the solutions is to offer Amadeus a multi-domain Master Data Management that centralizes the Master data such as Workforce, Product & Service, Reference Data/RFD (Geographical/Airport/Airline Data…) and Customer/Travel Agency
The team is multi-site and developing in Agile mode with an iterative approach and using Continuous integration platform (GIT, Maven, Atlassian, Jenkins).
The main responsibility will be the following one:
Design, develop and maintain E2E solution of this Java based applications including UI and DB layer
Ensure that the application design/implementation are consistent based on functional requirement defined in Agile with interaction with MDM Project team and solution team
Ensure that the application design/implementation are consistent with EBX best practice, the MDM Framework/ Architecture.
Participate in the MDM solution maintenance, improvement & support
Identify, propose & implement improvements (code refactoring, code reviews, re-design, etc.
major problem reviews & evaluations. implement and test fix in line with solution team (MDM)
Maintain high availability, stability, security standards & performance indicators
Impact analysis and implementation coordination of EBX minor & major versions
Suggest and implement continuous improvements to the working model/system
Participate in the continuous integration of the functional release (relaying on corporate software factory tools and guideline from Development to Production.
Technical / Functional :
Mandatory:
Strong knowledge in Core Java with minimum 6 years of experience as a developer
Proficient of the Object-Oriented Programming concepts, Core Java, Junit and J2EE, XML, XSD
Proficient in software development, tooling, development support and operations in collaboration with several teams and sites
Optional:
Experience in developing Jenkins plugin will be plus point
Knowledge of any scripting language (Python)
Experience working on Linux and continuous integration: GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Atlassian, Jenkins
Knowledge and experience of Master Data concept (knowledge of TIBCO EBX would be a plus)
Experience in SQL (Knowledge of Oracle DB would be a plus)
Exposure to UI development
Experience working in Agile mode of development
